I have had an affinity for observing life around me.  I get inspiration from painters such as Georgia O'Keeffe and Paul Gauguin with their distinct use of vibrant colors.  I strive to create images from nature that have a strong emphasis on color and shape.  My style has developed into more abstract, impressionistic work.
